Train to Pakistan

An adaptation of Khushwant Singh's seminal novel about a Punjabi border village — equal parts Hindu, Sikh and Muslim — shattered during the 1947 Partition when a train arrives full of the dead. A quiet, moral film about the choices ordinary men make in the middle of a catastrophe.
